I sat in a huge office overlooking Harvard Square and listened while the Psychologist explained my results. After 2 full days of curious questions, funny inkblots, tenuous reading, awkward writing, and the math I had dismissed completely, the prognosis was in. He prefaced the findings with lots of administrative jumble, droning on with uninspired garble. He finally captured my attention with something relevant. “Your (bla bla bla) test indicates you are most like; a music teacher, a musician and an artist”. This was pleasing news and I smiled. Sliding the glass door open, my dog charges out across the yard into the darkness. I pause, enveloped by the morning’s pre-dawn chill. Facing up at a sky gently lit by the moon, soft clouds parade together over the neighborhood. In the stillness I am infused with wonder and ready to celebrate the mystery of the forthcoming day.

Are We “There” Yet?

Yes, we are now. After working on this website for years, many friends and associates have been asking me why a marketing specialist could take so long to put up a damn website! What’s the problem? With a long history in marketing communications, I certainly could have put up a well-designed web site that presented Irene Buchine, the great marketer. In that vein, I could have offered a portfolio full of the work I’ve done for many well-known corporate clients and hopeful start-ups. I could have highlighted more recent projects including websites and marketing strategies for small businesses.
