Don’t lose sight of who you are!

  “Hi, nice to meet you. So, what do you do?”  “I’ve been an engineer most of my life. In 1996 I took my first job with Hewlett-Packard and spent the majority of my time in, etc….  In 2004, our department was eliminated and I became the project manager of another division, etc…” We hear this type of conversation all the time. I have been doing a substantial amount of media/blog reading on the topic of Personal Branding and also recently spoke on the subject to a diverse group of individuals (including three who mentioned being writers) who were all looking to establish a Personal Brand.
